Velletri - Via Appia Antica, historic villa of the 1930s that belonged to Eduardo De Filippo and Gian Maria Volonté - 3 independent cottages for a total of about 700 square meters The manor house is very large and is built on three floors: at first there is a large representative lounge surrounded by stained glass windows overlooking the garden, a kitchen, a fitness area with sauna and a dining room. On the second floor there are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and another glass lounge overlooking the sea from which you can access the top floor, consisting of an attic-room and a terrace. The villa is then surrounded by a park of two hectares, where three cottages of 70 square meters each were built, which are currently located. Dating back to the 1930s, the villa was purchased by the great theatrical actor De Filippo, to whom Velletri also named a street, in 1974. The actress Andreina Pagnani sold it to him and Eduardo went there to live with his wife Isabella Quarantotti. He died in 1984. The villa, at that point, became the property of the daughter of Eduardo's wife, Angelica Ippolito, a theatrical actress and companion of the great film actor Gian Maria Volontè. Together they decided to live in this beautiful estate, where Volontè's fiery chamber was also set up after the body returned from Greece. Also in Volontè Velletri has dedicated a public place, namely the Artemisio Theatre. In short, it is not a simple dwelling, but a house that contains in its rooms a piece of the culture of this country.
