The elegant and historic building made of exposed stone is located in the southern part of Via Consolare – ancient Cardo Massimo, a road layout that acquired relief in Roman and medieval times. Its structure, which dates back to 1400, has however maintained traces of the typical architecture of the imperial age, as evidenced by the presence, in its vicinity, of the Baths of Flavia Domitilla and the Roman Theater, both built at the beginning of the second century AD and indicating the culture of the people ferentinate in that era. The building also favored rapid access to the Forum, formerly adjacent to the area and, thanks to its strategic position to the south, was particularly suitable for urban functions of access and outflow of spectators, whether they were citizens or people from nearby cities. From the Middle Ages, after the rebuilding in the thirteenth century, the three ogival arched openings, the mullioned windows and the round arches, as well as numerous and valuable documentary remains, make the palace one of the most elegant houses in the city of Ferentino, as well as in the entire area.
